Poem for pregnant women :)

I've carried you for a little while
Feeling you move sure makes me smile

I wish for you a life of love
Filled with caring, goodness and guidance from above

I wish for you a heart of gold
And always assure you my hand is here to hold

I wish for you a mind like no other
So as you grow up, the world's yours to discover

I wish for you a life of success
To accomplish your best and never any less

I wish you could feel this love as I do
I know someday you will carry me too

Overwhelmed with love in my heart tonight
As I lay on my bed and hold my belly tight

I wish for you to be healthy and strong
And I pray each day that your life will be long

I wish for you a life with no pain
No teardrops to fall like droplets of rain

I wish for you friendships that last
And I hope each day for you is a blast

I wish for your arrival with ten fingers and toes
If you are a girl we'll buy ribbons and bows

I wish for you all of life's joys
We'll get race cars and trucks if you're one of God's baby boys

I will never expect perfection from you
Just be who you are and always be true

Mommy wishes all of this and more
But God only knows what your future has in store

When the time comes and you are placed in my arms
I will do all that I can to keep you from harm

I will guide you and teach you all that I can
Take one day at a time is my lifelong plan

I can't wait to meet you when the time arrives
When I first see your face I know I will cry

I love you like I've loved nothing before
Although I can't see you, you're the one I adore
